Wheel rechroming

I have a set of Weld wheels 17x8.5 that are a little over one year old and the chrome is chipping off the wheels. Weld will not warranty them, they say its my fault. I never drove this wheel combo in the winter (used stockers), they only have about 10,000mi on them. Does anybody know if or where I can get them rechromed, or buy a set of h2 wheels?

There is a set of h2 wheels in the classifieds under cleanup section! Not mine just saw them.

Man that stinks paying that kind of money for Welds and having the chrome chip off. You could always bead blast, polish and powdercoat them clear. Just a thought.

I would talk to a powdercoater and see about having them sand blasted and coated. Should not cost that much more than H2s.

I have some welds, they are holding up fine, but sometimes I would like them to be black.

sorry about the welds.

Rechroming is way too expensive so you can leave that route out,but the blasting and powdercoating is a good idea.
