I just got my xzillaraider from ups today.I will be installing it this weekend with my gauges.I need to know what readings on egt and boost are to high and or normal not having gauges untill now.I bought the race version and I am aware of the dreaded trans problems with too much power.I am also planning on a new air setup.Any input would be greatly appreciated.

 

I dont know about the 305/555, but I would go ahead and install gauges and xzillaraider. Put the bypass plug on the xzillaraider wiring harness. Then drive the heck out of it for a few days to get a good baseline of what your gauge readings are in pure stock format. Then you will know what the baseline for your truck is and can better judge how much the xzillaraider levels affect your truck. According to qzilla the xzillaraider on the stock setting will still affect boost so it needs to be off completely to get stock readings. Just my .02.

BTW on my 04.5 600 Level 2(100hp) will hit 43psi boost and 1450* EGTs with the XZillaraider Race box. Havent been on Level 3 but on the dyno, 44psi and 1475-1500* EGTs. I assume that the 305/555 will be lower on both readings.

 

Hmm, I may have to get the 60 psi gauge instead of the 35.That is and excellent idea to run just the gauges first.Maybe with my 305 it will not go past 35 psi.
