What's going on with Quad ?

Anyone have any news on what's going at Quad ? No new programs in months, no adreneline box for 3rd gens, no new commander. I like quadzilla products but I don't know how much longer I can wait for new programs. I might have to go to Smarty.

You won't be sorry, the Smarty rocks. Who knows why Quad hasn't commented on threads here in some time. We, including myself, dished him out a little heat because of some of his products, with good reasons, as his products were causing or should I say "involved" in some problems, and poof, he's gone.

Hello,

Quad has some good products. It seems that when the gauge with RP and optional(problematic) FP issues became known is about the time Quad quit frequenting this site. Apparently some of the concerns got to him personally. Hope he makes a comeback.

I can't believe you guys are just throwing them under the bus so bad. Quad has taken care of all of us time and time again. They have had an issue, that's fine, everyone does at one time or another. If they had issues all the time that would be a different story. Call in and get help addressing your issues. I don't feel that this is the place.

x 2.

Their chips did not cooperate well with my truck for some reason but Quadzilla did do their best to take care of me and when all else failed they issued a full refund. I was bummed out that the product didn't work because the customer service was excellent. Maybe they are just having a hard time or something. The economy has got a lot of businesses in a world of hurt.

I will have to agree with some of the above posts..... as of now the Smarty is definately the best thing going. However Quadzilla does have some nice products.

I hope this is not a bad thing, I just this very minute came from the Quad website after forking over money to upgrade my MMM to XZT. I've read about both and the smarty jr. looks really impressive but, I have the MMM. The upgrade was inexpensive compared to starting over with a smarty. Also I don't think my drivetrain is ready for me to own a smarty.

Thumbs down

Hell it doesnt surprise me he quit commin here with all the Smarty cheerleaders running off at the mouth downing anything else.....

I run a BDTD and have great luck with mine but I dont go around downing other products hell i will even tell people if I think something else is better for there aplication.

The sadest part is I have refused to try a Smarty just because of some peoples boastful taunts and degrading remarks towards other products.

Quad makes some good products but much like manufacturers of our trucks they some times have problems. IT is how they deal with those problems that defines them and from what I have seen of Quad they are top notch in my book.

I have nothing bad to say about my quadzilla xzillirator I used to have, but my smarty is so much better. More power if you want it, and so many more adjustments. You cant say anyone beats customer service when it comes to smarty either - just look at how quick Bob or Marco respond on this site when there is a rare smarty problem. I still use my commander for monitoring, but a smarty is the way to go.

I think quad is exceptionally great in my book, He always answered any questions I had even if it didnt pertain to a quadzilla product. I have an x2 standard box on my truck with the commander and all the extras to go along with it and I think it is bad***. It all works great. I can monitor everything and if I want some added preassure I just hit the little button and away we go. My quad stuff works great with my smarty. I think it is one of the best combos to have right along with a mp-8 and smarty.

Every manufacturer has had, and will again have a problem or two along the road. Maybe, Quad's absence is because he's tending to his business and working to solve some of the problems you guys have mentioned. I own a Quad product, had a hiccup and made one call, the next day a package was headed my way. Try to remember that these guys are competing in a global environment. It takes allot of work to bring a product to market, support it and improve it.

I have owned quad products for 4 years now, and have never failed to be taken care of. i have recommended them to others, and they are satisfied as well. HOPEFULLY, quad and family are NOT having medical problems(which has happened before and he was absent during it)
