I think it depends on what you are going to do with your truck. Right now if you going to be modding it, then the 5.9 is the way too go. The 6.7 is still new with very few mods and as Pauly pointed out it has a DPF.
On the other hand, the 6.7 comes with a 6-spd auto, which is pretty cool and factory exhaust brake, also cool. And I'm sure it probably pulls pretty well.
On the flip side, it's a new motor, first year out. I usually try to stay away from first year motors, let the kinks get worked out first...case-n-point the pwr stroke.
