got my edge juice attitude today. it came with everything and a little 90 degree brass fitting. (not the pyro either) it looks like a air schrader valve in it as well? is it for the boost? nothing in the instructions on it.

 

It may be the adjustable boost elbow. I thought the 04.5's had an electronic wastegate? I just put my Juice/Attitude on yesterday and mine didn't have that brass fitting you are talking about.

 

i bought a used edge juice attitude on ebay. it was old. i sent it in for hot unlock and turbo timer. it came back with BRAND NEW attitude monitor, pyro sender, and black edge box with new style plug. (my old one had harness coming out of it). Talk about AWSOME customer service. anywyas i dont know where this brass gold fitting goes? i never even sent an old one in.

Juice. Should be an EJD1000AWAM or an EJD1000WAM.

 

attitude says EAD300A HOT version 1.89

 

You've definately got the right kit. My guess is that they threw in the boost elbow by accident if that's what it is.

 

why? what year gets the boost elbow?

 

2003 and early 2004 needs the boost elbow.

 

That is what I was thinking. You have an '04.5 so you should have an electronically controlled wastegate.

 

ok. my instructions say something about a fuse tap. i dont see one on this harness? do i need a fuse tap or fuse? to hook up edge juice

 

I don't know about the 04.5 models, but on my '06 I had to put a mini-fuse tap on fuse #30 to get the power for the module/monitor. So yes, you will need a fuse tap. Did it not come with the kit?
