What will Scarry Larry do on an 03?

Ive been having some issues with mine and I think I want to try scarry larry. Will I need to take my puck off? How does it compare to 2.4.d? And can anyone please send it to me? I'd rather not pay for it if I dont have to.

And before you guys ask the truck can handle it, I have the fuel system gauges etc just ignore my sig.

I don't think it works on our trucks, for the longest time the CL didn't even work and I still don't think the gains are as high as they are on the newer trucks on CL. If your truck can handle it, why don't you try THE OTHER DOWNLOADER for maximum power on an 03?

Will scarry larry work better or just as good as a smarty? I have the scarry larry tune saved to my computer but can't get it to work on my laptop. I was gonna sell my bully dog to get a smarty. Or is there even a hotter tune then scarry larry.

They do respond wierd. The 2.4. is the only crazy larry version that will work on the 03-04. The problem is.... it is not very crazy. I've been through this already. To make them work right with a triple dog, you need more duration and injectors and pressure.

I can tell you this... a stock Smarty program is run harder than a triple dog on those trucks.

Thanks, My biggest issue is that "Crazy Larry" feels the same as tow and performance. Other than that it runs good. Ive got a pressure box on it and that makes all the difference.

One more thing it seems very tempermental, some days it smokes quite a bit and other days all I can get is a slight haze. Could this be caused by my rail pressure relief releasing early? Its slower now and smokes way less than a month ago for sure. And before anyone asks I have a fuel system

Crazy Larry does not exist on 03's. PERIOD. Some versions may have a little different fueling for Extreme mode, but Crazy Larry as we know it is 04.5+ only.

Crazy Larry is a program utilizing the 3rd injection event to make its 180hp. Since 03 and 04's don't have the 3rd event, by nature they cannot have the true "crazy larry." On newer versions, the Extreme tunes have been tweaked for 03-04's but are nothing close to actual Crazy Larry.
