I've got a '99 3500 24v and a 5 speed transmission with the Superchips on TOW SAFE mode.

I'm installing the following next week:

* Motoblue 4 inch exhaust with a 5" stainless tip

* RV275 injectors

* AFE Stage 2 air intake

With this set up, what could I expect from adding the Boost elbow from TST ??

I called them, and they said they don't recommend just the elbow to anyone unless they're using TST's own box along with it for $695.oo

They would sell the elbow to me, but wouldn't gaurantee any results, and said that they have no idea.

What do you guys think ??

I think it will help. When you hit 20 psi it seems to plane out, but with more boost it keeps on burning fuel till its starts defueling.

Better have a boost fooler or you will set codes. Thats why I like the EZ. It has a built in boost fooler, and more HP than a S.C.M.T.

 

does the superchip not boost fool?
if it boost fools
then the elbow may help reduce egt's a bit
otherwise you will just set overboost codes and your truck will defuel to keep the boost in check

call superchip and talk to someone who KNOWS and ask them if it boost fools or not
