What do you think an MP-8 would do in my truck

Hey, I am looking for some opinions as to how well a MP-8 would work with my current stuff,,, then with the possibility of a reworked head, upgraded cp3

I will be running the extreme stack tune on the predator and the hot juice on 5. (for starters, adjust from there)

Thanks

Kevin

On mine I have found that TST or HOT Juice/Attitude and BDTD or Smarty downloader stack can still benefit from a pressure box. My EZ improves any of the double stack combos I have had.

Thats what I was thinking, if you had it to do over, would you go with the ez again, or would you go with an mp-8?

I would probably go with the MP-8 because of the added adjustability. What I don't know is if the MP-8 pressure is designed to simulate added timing, and I think it does boost fooling also. I know the EZ does not do either. Not necessarily bad just makes tuning that much harder even with the added adjustability. The EZ has worked fine by itself and with four other stack combinations, so at this point I will just keep it.

Yeah that makes sense. I have started to put out way too much boost, in the high 50's so I know that I have to get studs and fire rings,, so I figure while i have the head off for that I am going to do a bit of work to it too,, looking for a 05 head ( i have heard that they flow a bit better) get it ported and bigger valves. Hopefully it will work as good in real life as it does on paper!!

I dont know if a juice and a mp8 would stack well that would be stacking two pressure boxes together! Atleast thats what I have been told by many on this forum 03-04 juice adds pressure 04.5 and up does NOT

YEP...maybe unplug your rail harness on the Juice only then try? But other than that...no...don't use the MP-8 with a 03-04 Juice.

What, if anything, would you run with my present configuration, knowing that i will be upgrading the head and cp3 in the near future?

Thanks

Flux Injectors...

Then maybe ditch the Attitude and get a TST to really dial it up.

For a 2003 to make power you really need to ditch the Juice.

Pony up and get a TST and MP-8. With my application (TST-Smarty-MP-8) the pressure box really help to make the downloader and TST play well together.

And Flux injectors are also on my list. I just purcased a used set of sticks to get sent out to Don. Can't wait. Need to get rid of my big turbo to pay for the injectors.

I think smaller is better...Flux 1's (40 hp...but they yield way way more on the top end with multiple box stacks) and a stage 2 CP3. You will get better mileage and awesome atomization. 650 hp bam!

Ohh, so 40's might even be better you think, kinda goes with my theorys, I was just worried about going too small, and not doing enough for the bang, I have been trying to talk to don m about it, but cant seem to connect with him. Maybe I will start a post directly for him

I also think that FLUX 1s would be the way to go with your setup. Banshee has FLUX 1s in his 04 6sp and with his setup he has put down close to 600hp on #2 and 677hp with a little shot of NOS.
