what to do first?

im not to familar with these so any help will be much appreciated. my girlfriend has an 04 2500 automatic 4 door 4x4 and i was wondering what are some cheap mods that i can to do to get some more power out of it.

By Cheap what are you meaning exactly? Are you asking about DIY mods? Or cheap but good programers or fuel modules? You have several options it just all comes down to your definition of what cheap is.

gut the air silencer

DIY as in Do it Yourself just do a search and type in DIY and look at all the mods that pop up they are cheap and great for the time it takes to do them. For 200-300 you may look into the classifieds ads on here and take a look for that price you should be able to find a diablosport predator or some type of fuel box to give you a little extra go.

Well I believe what DZ04 was referring to is the silencer ring on the turbo inlet. Held in by a snap ring, it can be popped out with a screwdriver and give you the turbo "whistle". It won't provide any more power though. The other mod I think is gutting the air guide vanes out of the intake tubing.

Loud annoying drone and youll sound like everyone else who has a cummins and cant keep their foot out of it. 5" is the way to go imo.
