I have got alot done to my 04 and it is running great but I am wanting a mega. Would it be best to buy a mega and swap all the parts over or just start over with the mega. I really want to keep the DTT. I am sure I would loose a lot of $$ selling the 04 as is.

 

Most stuff won't swap since you have 5.9 and new mega have 6.7....unless you were planning on a used 5.9 mega.

I would return truck to stock as much as possible, sell the take off stuff, and trade (or sell) and then get mega.

 

pull the goodies off and find a good used 5.9 and reinstall goodies.

As long as you find a good 5.9. I would do that in a hearbeat!

 

I want to stay with the 5.9 so I can do some good mods. If I went 6.7 then I would go new and then have that warranty thing.

 

The transmission is a little different in you 04.5 than what is in a 05 or up 04.5 was the last year for a manual throttle valve cable the 05 an up use a motor on the trans case.
