Aloha, Have a problem with error code comming up as a vin checksum error. Truck was bought from second owner who claims previous owner had programming problems which caused airbag light to come on along with brake and ABS. Took to a shop which said they had some fancy new scanner but tech said something about not communicating with ecu??? could not reset and cure airbag, brake, and ABS light problem. Truck is a 2005 with an Edge EZ and???? I do notice that when passing the speed limit sign that displays speed, its right on even though running 33's. Could there be some Smarty or BullyDog programming going on? Just need to correct the Airbag light problem in order to pass a safety check here in Hawaii.

 

I would take it back to your local dodge dealer and see if they can reflash the ECM. 33 inch tires are not that far from stock, I would not be shocked if the ABS programming was not changed.
