This morning I went to my buddy's shop with camera to see how new single stack smoked and new turbo spooled. Here is a short clip of it.

 

NICE!!!!! It is kinda crazy how much a bigger turbo/makes the truck smoke so much. Mine smokes like a coal train. NIce vid

No I was in my red truck and a buddy was in his one of his trucks. I know I can black out a highway for a long time now if I want to. Next mod coming this month or next is a Floor-it pump and that should take care of the extreme egts I still see with this even with this turbo.

 

The one thing I noticed about that turbo was the more fuel you give it the better it likes it. I don't know if a Edge J/A is enough fuel to spin it enough too cool it like it should. The reason I say this was with flux 3.5 and tst on 2/1 or 3/1 my egts would clime out of site. Put my bully dog or smarty on and egts would hoover around 1350 turn smarty to level 8 and tst on 2/1 with water on egts would stay 1400. How much boost are you seeing and did they get the wastegate fixed. Mine kept popping open at 35 to 37lbs. HTT said to disconnect wastegate and I see 53lbs now. Thinking of maybe a Aurora 5000 now or twins turbo just don't cool like I want it to.

 

I pretty sure RAMNu2 has got or is getting a Floor-It pump also.

 

Only until it spools, then it would be less smoke.

I need a bigger turbo - actually two. If your buddy would have been behind me there would be nothing on the video to see - that is until it showed him going off the road because he couldn't see.
