Vibe is gone after trans mods...?

Vibe is gone after trans mods...?
This still amazes me. I've always had the vibe from 70-75mph but never bothered me because I rarely drove at that speed. Now that I have the new flexplate/converter.... it's totally gone.
Any ideas as to why?
Could the old converter been out of balance?
