My transmission is doing good so far with the jr, but i have read that just switching the valve body will improve the preformance of the transmission. So a few ?s

1 what is a good brand valve body to get?

2 how much will it cost?

3 should I do the valve body and the TC?

 

most do valve body and torque converter at the same time... usually make a good combo for the tranny. im running a goerend tranny in my trunk and im impressed with his stuff. vb vary in price, id shop around before you drop money on one.

 

I'm running just the Goerend valvebody right now. Pretty happy with it. A little firmer shifts but it feels a lot better then stock. Seems more responsive.

I'm going to get a triple disc from Goerend as soon as my bank account will allow.

My valvebody was about 500 and I think it was well worth it.
