I was just wondering what If it would be better to buy a new Smarty or purchase a used one. What are the pro's and con's of new and used. Do You get a warrenty if they are used? TIA

I don't have a Smarty. But from what I have read people love them, it might be hard to find a used one.

Good luck though.

 

There's no moving parts, it works or it doesn't.....if you can try it and it loads sucessfully, no worries....also, ensure it comes with the cable to connect to the truck...granted, good luck finding a used one....

I have seen 3-4 smarty's in the DTR classified they are there if you watch for them....

 

Watch fast. The ones I have seen sold within minutes of being posted...

 

Make sure it has the software with it when you buy a used one. No use buying one that is downloaded to another vehicle.
