No chips or scratches at all!

It requires professional installation and is VERY expensive to hav ethe whole truck (I think it was $8,700) but in my opinion totally worth it. I hav ejust the front, mirrors, and rocker panels done on my Lamborghini ($1,000) and it works like a charm. THis stuff really does work. I cannot say it enough or recommend it any more highly. EVERYONE should have this on their truck IF they can afford to.
for $8,700 you could repaint your truck 2 or 3 times.I bet in five year that stuff turns yellow and you wont be able to remove it

Never turns yellow and is super easy to remove with the right solvent with no paint damage. I have had it on my Lambo for over two and a half years. The stuff is amazing! And, to repaint my truck with any kind of QUALITY paint job (which to me would be the only point in doing it since the factory one is pretty much garbage), you would be looking in the $10,000-$15,000 range given the size of the vehicle.

this is true....i had my 79 little red express truck painted two or three years ago and it cost me 2500 and this was a single cab, short bed. , no clear coat and it was family doing it! so i can definately see a 10k minimum....my uncle was saying the paint he gets has almost doubled in price

you could always take it to maaco wiggs!

This may be off topic but has anybody line xed behind the front and rear tires and just tapered it off as it went back so that it keep the rocks you tires through off your rockers but you dont actually have the entire rocker panel done?

I have been thinkin of this since the black on black prolly wouldnt look good and it should be much less noticeable than the hole rocker panel covered in line x

Ok I've kinda looked into to this and I have a few questions.

Just how tough is this stuff??

I run wide tires on all my trucks (14.50s wide on 12 inch wide rims) and I do drive on some dirt roads and mostly I don't want the rocks to chip up my rocker panels so bad, is that stuff thick enough or tough enough to take that???

Ok the second question is, if I put on my rockers and I run my hand down the truck, will my finger nail catch the edge on the film?? Like will it be real noticeable against the rest of the truck.

Yes it is is tough enough. It prevents chips when I am going over 200 MPH so I doubt you could get any rock to be going nearly as fast off-roading. If applied correctly, you will only see the film when your vehicle is VERY dirty (because the edge of the film will collect some built up dirt thereby highlighting the leading edge of the film), but when it is clean, it is invisible. If you look at the posts where I showed pictures of my Lambo, it had the film all over the lower part of the car but you can't see it at all.

With that said, is this stuff indestructable? No. But it certainly is the best option short of spraying bedliner on your paint.

Well this sounds like what I need.

I thought about bed liner but I just don't like the look.

Turns out there is a place that does this about 30 miles from me I may go up there and look and some of the stuff when I get a chance.

It's on (looks good)

I ended up doing more of the front end & also decided to wrap the entire dually fenders. Pretty pleased with the looks.
