Upgrading Fuel System
Upgrading Fuel System
I am going to be upgrading my Xzilleraider
and on their website is suggest upgrading your fuel system. What are some minor upgrades I can do that won't put a huge dent in my wallet.

FASS, walbro/GDP, airdog, mitusa, they are all pretty close in price, the walbro is probably cheaper then the rest as just a pump kit...but when you add the big line kit and 2mic filter it comes close to the rest of the fuel system set-up's.
I think they are all great set-ups....makes it hard to make a choice

I thought I wanted a FASS but with the price of the Airdog and all the great comments about it I may go that route....but then again I really like the Mitusa set-up too
good luck with your decision.

Hi Crazy:
With just my XZT I can pull my fuel pressure down to 0 PSI at WOT, so with the race you need more pressure to protect you injector pump and to prevent draining the rail.
There are many options available. The cheapest is the Holley blue. Do a search on here for Holley blue and you will find lots of infor. You can even save money on the blue by buying a procomp blue on ebay.
Many feel the Walbro pump is more reliable and very popular on this site. You can buy a kit or DIY. There is a great thread on DTR by 8MPG, look in the WIKI forum under tech articles
Good luck
