The computer nerd across the street had to help me. If necessary, send it up to Bob and he'll update it for you.

0. Create a folder on your computer desktop named Smarty
1. Download and install or ensure you have winzip to unzip .zip files
2. Download and install Smarty Driver = Smarty USB driver for Windows 2000
and Windows XP * (Unzip to the Smarty Folder on your desktop and install)
3. Download and install Smarty Update Software = Smarty USB downloader ver. 3.04A optimized for Windows XP® (or the other version if you are not on Windows XP) (Unzip to the Smarty folder on your desktop and install)
4. Download 7zip (this is a different zip program for use with .7z files) and install....http://www.7-zip.org/
5. Download your favorite smarty file and unzip to your smarty directory on your desktop
6. Plug in your smarty.....let the new hardware found wizard complete
7. Launch smarty.exe and select the .smt file in the Smarty Folder on your desktop

Make Sense?
