i bought my truck in december of 04. i work out of town, so in 3 1/2 months i've put 2000 miles on my truck . by feb i decided to order a power pup, outlook, and afe stage 2. i installed it my next trip home. i was really impressed with the difference from stock. on extreme it would start defueling around 50 miles an hour. i called bullydog and asked them what would keep it from defueling, and they told me to call xtreme truck and trailer in michigan. i called them and talked to jamie. he had alot of input and suggestions. so to get the egts down i orderd a 5 inch exh. and torque dog to stack with the power pup. this sat in my garage for a month, then i decided to order a torque converter and vb. the torque converter, vb, and exhaust was installed a week before i got home. as soon as i got home i told my wife hello and grabbed my keys at the same time. i took off in it and as soon as i put it in gear i could tell a difference. it shifted firmer and faster. i grabbed a bite to eat , then installed the torque dog . i ran the downloader on extreme and the torque dog on stock for about .... one tenth of a mile...
then i stepped it up to the 50 hp setting. there was a difference, i could fell it at lower to mid rpms. from a stop i could roll into the throtlle and light the tires up, not really tring to
i got tired of that and decided to step it up to the 90 hp setting. man, fast??? yup. after this i decided to take it to the track on the following friday for test and tune. i have 325 60 18 inch and heavy kmc wheels, thought i would look cool. i didn't even think about this wheel and tire combo slowing me down any. the first run i ran the power pup on extreme and the torque dog on 50hp setting. this was maybe the third time i have ever ran down the track. i launched at about 10lbs of boost and ran a 14.54 with a 2.08 60'. not the best but, the first run i was happy. the second run i lauched at 10lbs and ran a 14.42 and a 2.01. a little better, but i thought i would be a little lower. the third run i turned the toque dog on the 90 hp setting. i launched at 10 lbs and ran a 14.08 with a 1.95 60'. by this time i really thought i would run a 13 by the night was over. the fourth and final run i launched at 10-12 lbs of boost and ran a 14.010 with a 1.89 60' . i was kinda dissapointed that i didn't get in to the 13s, but this was my first time to run the truck, and i didn't put my stock wheels and tires back on. overall i am happy so far with everything. i really didn't want to launch higher than 15lbs of boost because i don't have a billet input. the next time i go home i will put the stock wheels and tires on it and launch at 15 to 20lbs of boost. and hopefully get a 13. with the torque dog on the 50hp setting the egts never got above 1300. with the torque dog on the 90 hp setting the egts never got above 1375. i was impressed with drop in egts. i have time time slips and videos of the runs. i am waiting on my wife to figure out how to post it...hopefully it will be soon i guess the next step is full trans, turbo and injectors hopefully by the end of the year
needless to say i have the bug

Yep, The stock tires will help.....keep the broken tranny parts from getting hurt as they drop to the ground.
The input shaft is gonna twist and twist the flexplate is gonna bend and bend and bend and then you will have a $5k bill on your hand.
I'd be happy with your times on a lightly modified tranny. 15to20 psi launches without a billet flexplate, billet input, and lots of fresh clutches is just begging for a new tranny....not that there is anything wrong with that. Good luck, I can't wait to here the rest of the story as I've been there and done that.
