Could be... I have no idea the condition of his trans. Once you start pushing 100hp or so over stock you're probably rolling the dice if you really get on her.

I am going back to the "tow" mode as I think I was slipping the trans pretty good, and my turbo is crying too..

The boost fooler did make it take longer for the EGT's to climb, but they still get way up there..

 

I run "TOW" sometimes. On my truck, with my built trans, TOW shift really hard. Harder than the other programs, for what it's worth...
At least your not like some guys and running around on Extreme with no EGT guage...
Diablo fuels quite a bit and things can get toasty very quickly.

 

I like "TOW" mode. I think the truck feels just as fast since my tranny can handle it.

EGT's also creeeeeeep up to a 1300* max full throttle...
