Tuner ? those that know

Searched and found nothing so here goes,.,

2004 Dodge 2500. auto had a quadzilla Accelrator on it set at 65 hp ( boost fooler) 80 k no issues, running diamond eye exhaust with AFE stage 2 intake. all other stock..

Typical load is 20 k total. with Quadzilla maxed out @ 1300# EGT and 23 on boost. just nothing left. and need more to pull hills etc...

was thinking of a Smarty but dont need the fancy one as I already have Gauges pillar mounted...

will Smarty do more than what the boost fooler can do or are they the same with Hp etc....

Smarty Jr will take you to 100 HP which is about all you want before doing something about the trans. I think you will also see a little cooler egts as well.

DTR Performance shops sells them with free shipping to members as well If you have any questions feel free to give me a shout toll free 877-375-1956

Don't forget to install a adjustable boost elbow (set to 32 psi). Will add power and lower EGT's. Can find the elbow's on Ebay.

Last I heard EFI for '03-05 trucks is still on the back burner with no timeline on development.

If really wanting to upgrade to EFI buy a '06 ECM and wiring harness.

I have heard the same. Due to the 03-05 ecm. You can read it on EFI website.

03-05 get the Smarty UDC and don't look back. As long as you have a rail pressure gauge or engine load you can program yourself or get a vendor.

I hope so. I been waiting and wanting to have it myself so bad. Our work trucks {some dirtymaxes and cummins} have the tunes and I am so impressed. I would like to have a smarty but I would like to see a on demand power. I don't enjoy sitting around waiting on a programmer to tune
