Have a 2004.5 600 auto, 4x4 3.73 axle. tow a 9800 lb 5er. Hate the millage, mostly 8.5-11 range. Retired and hoped to travel till the fuel prices surged.....on to the question. Total weight towed and truck 17,400 #. Looking at much information but not finding an answer. Want unit that is as transparent as possible but dependable also. Leaning toward the Quadzilla unit not sure. I don't like the idea of re-programing system as the Bully Dog seems to do. Edge is a little out of my price range for now. Am I looking at the right items? Really concerned about not voiding warranty, even if it means removing unit when taking in for service. Appreciate any/all information.

Did read about a few Quadzillas acting up and causing minor problems but the few I read about were corrected quickly and by turning them off eliminated problem so that dosen't seem to be an issue.

you could also look at a VA 3.1,its a nice inexspensive box that will give a nice pick up on both bottom end and fuel economy
