Tuff Country 4.5" lift kit

Anyone using this lift kit. I've found it on the internet for a decent price. Any opinions on this kit. I don't have a lot of $$ to spend and this one seems to be the cheapest I've found.

thanks Jamie

I am...

Don't get the shocks...buy Bilsteens, greese all bushings, and tighten the crap out of your track bar bolts and you will love the thing for many many miles!

I add about 1" to the rear to make the truck sit just lightley raked forward.

Great price effective product.

Where did you get the 1" blocks for the rear?

I made them...find a machine/fab shop and have them cut from a 1" steel plate. When you take apart the OEM axle block/ubolts...u will see wht you will have to do to make them fit. There is plenty of space in the new set of ubolts to do this.

The Tuff 4.5 really only lifts the back of the truck 2.5 inches...I needs 1 more inch IMHO. Look at my pics to tell.

I totally agree. When I installed my new 2" springs up front, my truck is just under 1" lower in the rear now. What do you think a machine shop would charge for something like that?

Not much if you find the right one...it is only around $10 of steel. If you happen to swing by Idaho...I would make some for you for free.
