Tst still popping with fass 150?
I have the tst on my 06 and it would pop and miss on anything over 3x3 so i put a fass 150 pump on it. The thing is that it still pops and misses is this normal or is there something wrong with my tst? I sometimes stack a xzt with it but havent had a chance yet with the pump on maybe that will help.
You should be able to go higher than 3/3 for sure. Mine doesn't start popping until 7/7 and that's with the EZ on level 2 or 3. I'd also say there may be a problem with the TST harness... Did you make sure the injector wires are on the correct way? I remember the directions said that although there were 6 injector wires, they can only be hooked up one way. If your harness is upside down, then the #6 would be hooked up to #1 and so on. Just a thought...
The popping issue is something that people have had for a long time, but I wonder if they made some program changes recently that is causing the miss, or stumble.
My TST had been flawless for over a year now. Last month I decided to send it in for the twins program to play with that one for a while. Not only did I get the popping with the twins program, but I had a terrible miss, or stumble, that would occur somewhere between 1800 and 2000 RPMs. It was bad enough that at the track, the truck would nose over throwing me into the seatbelt, then take off again. Terrible. With that and the popping I just assumed my truck didn’t agree with the twins program, so I sent the box back for the singles program again. I just got it back last week with the singles program and while my popping is now gone again, I still have this darn stumble between 1800 and 2000 RPMs. It is bad enough that during a long trip the other day, I had the cruise control set, just cruising along with RPMs somewhere around 1900, and twice during the 3 hour trip it stumbled…..just cruising. Never had this with the singles program that I had been running for over the last year. They had to of changed something recently that is not agreeing with me.
