TST/Smarty stack vs TST/MP8 stack

Hey guys,
I should have the 03 back together tomorrow and was thinking about putting the Smarty on the wifes truck and taking her MP8 and having it reprogrammed for my 03. The Smarty works alot better on the 05 then it does on my 03. So what do you guys think? What would be the best stack for my 03? (Driveability wise)
Thanks,
Topper

Well you're not really comparing apples to apples here. The mp8 is pressure only and the Smarty is timing/duration with no pressure. You can always ad pressure with the TST. It seems to me that the Smarty would give you much more power than the mp8 stacked with the TST.

Tst on 5-5, 4 pressure, no adding timing and smarty you will have to feel out but it works great

if i remember my units right the tst you have isn't doing any pressure you can stack smarty/tst/mp8 the pressure will wake it up a little more with the timming and duration from the tst and smarty

Hey guys,
Thanks for the replys. I have to do some work on my fuel system. I don't see nearly the rail pressure that I should see. So after I get that worked out and the new turbo installed I'll do some swappin around.
Thanks again,
Topper

On your truck the Smarty/MP-8 is the best starting point...then if needed...add the TST to add more duration and or adjust the timing.

You need a turbo bad...an maybe a modded cp3. Flux 2's and the Smarty/MP-8 is probably all the stock CP-3 has...

stock cp3 isn't going to handle smarty/mp8/flux 2s. With my stage 1, smarty/mp8/flux 1.8s pulls the rail down to 15.
