Hopefully, TDR non-members can see this thread from my latest dyno adventure yesterday with cquestad:

If not, let me know. Then I'll work on on posting it over here on DTR.

Yes thanks very much for the information. It does just enforce that fact that finding the right mod combination on the 3rd gen trucks requires endless testing, tuning and doing it all over and over again. Between the mechanical mods(injectors, turbo(s), cp3, etc) and electronic mods (especially triple stacked) the possible combinations are nearly infinite. Then throw in all the environment factors that change daily and sort of just boggles the mind some times.
JSteiger, How much boost were you able to build.....1200degrees is pretty cool with a drained rail. My rail will never drain but I can flow enough diesel to put the flame out and even at 70psi boost I can hit 1500 degrees. The highest boost I've ever made on the dyno was about 38psi on intake measured with TST and intake boost gauge and that was a 550hp run....and I've tried on a Mustang and a Dynojet. I can go above 70psi but I try not to. ks
