TS Monitor
Hi,
Always tinkering with things, I decided to go with the TS monitor and heads-up display. It's kinda neat, but I can't get this thing to work right. The first one was DOA, wouldn't read anything. TS replaced it. The second one worked ok, but the readings are not what I have seen in the past. Rail pressure at idle is 4k, 20k WOT (no programmer.. bone stock). With the MP8 cranked, 22k WOT. Yes, the Walbro is supplying fuel.
Worse yet, max boost stock was 22lbs, 38lbs with the MP8! I don't have the wastegate blocked off and have never seen over 32lbs even with hot programmers..
Stock egt's were 1250, but were 1850 with the MP8! Argh.. sometimes I wonder about digital gages. Anybody else have issues with these monitors or TS products?
