BD X-Monitor for 2003?

Anyone inquired as to whether or not the BD X-Monitor is compatible with the '03? I'm particularly interested in the display to mount on the pillar with little problem. Also wondering, if one goes with the fuel pressure version, if the connects in the same place that the 2nd gen trucks do or if it's in a different place.

Anyone know? I'm kind of leaing this way as I'm not too keen on removing the 'oh handle from the driver side just yet, and I certainly don't want gauges blocking my view right on top of the dash.

They have a proto fitted and expect to have them ready soon. I also inquired if they were color matched and they are not so a trip to the dealer will be in order in that regards. Cant comment on how it connects for the fuel pressure. I am leaning toward this product myself.

That is a great looking unit, just what I have been looking for I think. I also want to keep the handle and would just as soon have one digital display that shows everything. Thanks guys, found something new, now we just need it for the 2003's.

Re:BD X-Monitor for 2003?

I saw some pictures from the drivers seat of the colum mount gauge pods, and I wasn't too keen on the amount of te dash cluster that was covered up by just a single pod. A dual pod would be that much worse.

I was also thinking to myself as I drove home tonight, if the X-Monitor LEDs are even close to the same color as the green LEDs that are in the radio, and the color of the lights on the gauges, it should look pretty good in there.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see what comes of it.

I think that if you skip that and go with transmission temperature, it drops price significantly.

However, I don't know for sure since I've not seen anything on the X-Monitor for the '03 other than the little things that are posted on their message board every once in a while.

Re:BD X-Monitor for 2003?

When I spoke to the helpful guys at BD-Power tey said the X-Monitors they have are the same for the '02 Ram they were just waiting for new molded plastic for the a pillar. You should call and check on it Monday Feb 17th. You should have an answer that you will like. $495 is what I was quoted on a price.
