I cant get the smarty to connect to my computer. The directions on the page are not clear enough for me I guess. I dont know what I am doing wrong. Can someone help guide me through it.

Guess you're running XP? If so first you need to have this driver CDM_2.00.00.zip unzipped in a folder. Next plug in the SMARTY into a USB port and let the OS detect the device but DO NOT let it load the native OS driver. Instead use the Add Hardware Wizard and browse for the driver in the folder you have created.
After that the SMARTY should be detected and will be able to run this program Smarty USB.exe

First did you install the Smarty USB Drivers on your computer?? Are you running Windows XP Service Pack 2??
