Truck will crank but won't start
I've got a 2004.5 common rail motor I installed in a 58 ford f100 I had this motor in another truck before and it was getting hard to start before I pulled it out but always started the truck I had it in before was a 2000 ford f450 and I hooked everything up the same in this truck and I talked to the conversion company a bunch and they say the truck wouldn't run at all if I hooked anything up wrong but it will run with starting fluid I know I shouldn't start it that way . I've replaced all the injectors with brand new ones hopping that would fix it cuz that seems to be the most common issue still have to start it with starting fluid the truck runs great doesn't smoke I've replaced the Fca and the pressure relief valve im getting 6500 for rail pressure while cranking I've also replaced the crank sensor I dont think it's a problem with the injector install I did I replaced the o rings on the feed tubes and cleaned them and checked for scaring and they looked good I know I did the tourqe sequence right I've installed injectors in a 6.7 before and had no problems Im not getting fuel in my oil I've checked that a million times I've looked at the whole wiring harness for cranks wear or breaks truck is not throwing any codes I've got an air dog 250gph lift pump on it and I put 125 hp injectors in it .

If you have fuel, and it runs after starting fluid is used, it could be a compression problem, or a valve clearance issue. How many miles are on the engine? Has it ever been rebuilt? Have the valves ever been adjusted? Is it burning coolant? oil?
