Transfer flow but not transfer flow??

Im lookin to put a tank in the bed of the truck but I would like to be able to flip a switch and fill the truck tank without getting out. I drive lots of long distance trips and I hate stopping. Anyone have ideas or ever do it?

Once you get your aftermarket fuel pump in place you can put an electrical operated y valve on the pickup from the new tank and the stock tank. To fill the tank you flip the switch and when the return line from the CP3 fills the stock tank you turn it off. You should put a safety on the switch that turns off the valve when the tank gets full. Or go Trans Flow. ks

just read about gravity fed kits...sounds good to me, just need to find the right tank. I have a SWB so I dont want something that takes up 24" of the bed...although it might be nice if I dont have to help people move

I have the RDS 60 gal toolbox/tank with the gravity feed system from Northern Tool and it works great !!! www.zylstraautomotive.com has plain ones if you want but they are $$$$ . I bet you can get a plain one through RDS if you wanted all you have to do is ask .

8mpg,
I don't know what resources ya got around ya, but I picked up mine at a local case equipment dealership. They had the best price in town and had a great selection from plain jane steel to smooth aluminum. I have had a 100 gallon rectangular steel box in other trucks, would be great if your going to lineX it ( 24" H x 45" w x 24" d = 100 gallon).

Hope this helps,
Tyler

Um...I know a "cough" business that could fabricate anything mild to wild, aluminum, steel, stainless. It technically would be called a bulk storage tank with a 2" fill and a 1/2" drain. PM me if you would like more info. You may have to wait a bit...the industry is way way way to busy right now.
