I would say his tranny is screwed because to my knowledge the Bullydog downloader or chip do not have safety features on them like banks chips do.

As far as I know, Officer Rockittboy, The trans may be screwed.

Check the trans fluid for burning, and replace asap!

I suppose that he does not have guages either?

I would say its the tranny, or more likely the converter. When I first put my Edge JWA on, I could also roast the tire (one wheel wonder) for like 100 yards. Since then I have registered slip on the tranny/converter multiple times and now if I try to abuse it, it only lays a track about 75 - 100 feet. I will be upgrading the tranny in the next couple months though.

If you run a pyro then you can set the defuel level on the Bully Dog Outlook monitor

take a look at the Outlook on the right side of the screen , see if it says 100% , and you will know if he is running full power or derate, it may say 75% or 50% , this happen to me one time while playing with the monitor.

I'm not sure if the Outlook will defuel, but the Juice w/ Attitude will if it detects slip, or if the boost or EGTs get too high.
