Track bar upgrade?

Hey all,

I am looking at installing either the Lorenz/Bilstein lift or the Carli/Bilstein lift on my 2003 QC. My question is should I also install the Thuren track bar at the same time? I have 295-70/17 Nitto TG's on it now with the stock suspension and shocks. I have never had a death wobble situation. Any suggestions are welcome or someone that has these lifts can chime in and point me in the right direction with their experience.

Thanks all,

Jon

I did Lorenz's 2" springs, Thuren's trackbar and Defiants steering box support. I don't really know if the trackbar was necessary, but the combination worked very well. No, issues at all. The alignment was spot on and I've never had the death wobble. I'm also running 5100's and Toyo 295/75/17 MT's.

I would go ahead and do the track bar and possibly a steering support as well. Might as well do it all at once while you're under there. With my Carli/Thuren suspension, I've never had death wobble.

Just some more food for though...... both Lorenz and Carli make nice kits, but Carli has the softer springs. With the Bilstein package, Lorenz uses either a 6% or 23% over stock rate.

You could save hundreds of $$$ by installing our zero-deflection offset track bar bushings.
