I believe that is in the same range as a k31. Just a little smaller than an s400 and ht3b.

With respect to fueling, I see no issues.
I do not think you will over fuel the towing twins from BD, I also don't believe you can make over 580 with the twins and your fueling mods. Someone may be able to make 600 on #2 with the BD twins but I have never seen a thread of graph providing that information.
Understand the rating of the turbos from any manufacture is "up to" and longevity needs to be considered. If you are going to constantly push the limits parts will break.
I run a BD cast aluminum intercooler..not sure if it is on the public market. This cooler much stronger and should hold 100psi...

Have you towed with your new setup?i read on here that kantdrive55 towed to sema i think with the 700 setup, but said they had done some mods to the twins. What mods would be needed to tow?

So less power with BD towing twins than with a single A3k? Doesn't sound like the solution to me.

I have not towed with the set up I have now. I do not anticipate any negative results.

I recently ditched my BD twins and had Nathan build me a set using the Super B as the top turbo with the wastegated GT4202 as the primary. I just put 2,000 miles on them in the past week. They spool ridiculously fast! Due to the weather I still haven't fully unleashed the boost as well as tuned them either. Stay tuned for a thread with installation pictures...

Yeah, 600 HP ! I should post all my graphs of maxing out at ~575 HP with the BD twins, except for a 1x fluke at 596 HP. When I removed the BD twins I took detailed measurements of the Super B and the primary. The primary is tiny so it probably has to spin fast to move air that is also hotter as a result! The tiny primary probably also limits exhaust flow thereby limiting power making potential.

However, for a solid 500 HP with reasonable cooling and no lag whatsover I believe the BD's do really well, are very well matched (always "on boost"), and are a heck of a lot better than a large single for towing. I think they have also been proven on the dragstrip with AK Ram's and the guy from Vancouver Island with the CR Chevy conversion.

Umm, if I want to figure out what the heck you guys are talking about with all these MFG types, where the heck can I go?

I'm trying to figure out turbos, I'm a neophyte with them. And, I'm getting frustrated . I have been searching and reading what I can find, but haven't found a turbo basics post - I'm not saying my searching doesn't suck either...

Helllllpppppp.....

I'm very interested to know how this set-up is working out. What kind of boost #'s are you seeing? What did you wastegate the primary at?

Once I get some more drive and tuning time I'll post a thread so as to not take Omaharam's original thread off-topic. I'm still driving home from Christmas vacation and the road conditions really suck so I have everything turned down to about 425 rwHP as a result. I set the primary wastegate to 30 psi, but still need to fiddle around with the Super B wastegate setting some more.
