Wondering what everyone would recomend for a turbo and injector setup to help with towing? I tow 14-18k a couple times a month for 2+ hours at a time and would like to have as much power to tow it with as possible(Not that it cant tow it anyways) But I already have a #6 fuel plate and 3k gsk I want to be able to lay into it on the hills without having to back off because of the egt's. Wondering if anyone could help me on a good setup to run.

Auto or 5spd??? How much do you want to spend?

 

Its an auto i am in the market for a trans right now. Once I get that in I am on a budget but hope to be able to spend around 2000 to 2500 Hopefully on the lower side

I have a friend that has a 35/40 hybrid and likes it for towing. That is a low end turbo , money wise.

 

Do the trans....call Dave G....get one of his TCC and a valve body. Then a set of stock 215 injectors, 100 or 0 plate with a 14cm exh housing on your stock turbo....this should get you in under 2000 and belive me when I say it will feel like a different truck. Once hooked you'll want a stooped pump, honed injectors, twins, cam......it never stops.
