Towing and Air Deflectors/Wings

Anyone have experience using an air deflector/wing when towing?

I was considering adding one to the cap to help "push" air over the trailers nose. The manufacturers "claim" 10-20% better fuel economy and I'd like to know real world experience from those that use them.

When we all where using gassers to pull our fivers, guys with the wing picked up about 3 miles per gallon which was just about doubling their miles per gallon. I didn't have one, I couldn't have gotten into my garage, I was a one man show back then.

yepper they work,,,,,,,,,,,

i picked up around 10% better fuel economy (hand calc.) with my replacement K&N Filter - it's a cheaper alternative.

I have one that I bought off of ebay, nice unit, but to be honest the only difference that I have found is that I get less bugs on my 5er. I dont think I noticed any extra fuel mileage.
