Alright, everyone pretty well ignored me yesterday when I tried to save this thread so I was forced to close it. I have since edited out all the crud where you guys tried to hijack it and make it something it wasn't meant to be.

I am going to reopen it and anyone that tries to hijack it again will be banned, no warning what so ever. I don't know how I can possibly make this any clearer than this. This forum is about information NOT attitudes and bumping heads, there are plenty of other places on the Internet that thrive on that "Jerry Springer" mentality but this ain't it.

You want to argue and call each other names, go some place else to do it.

The only parts I'm aware of that require any welding to the frame are the radius arms. The bump stops are tacked to the factory bump stop mount which is really not the frame. Are you referring to another part that I'm not aware of?

oh don't go there Pauly...I took your advice and went the Thuren Carli route...couldn't be happier. Oh, you are correct, Don's mounting plates for the bump stops are welded to the existing bump stop cup after trimming it back to .25 - .31 remaining height.

You did, it turned into a bash Thuren and everybody jump on the guy with a different opinion thread. Trying to avoid that now by letting it smooth over

In most cases they are one and the same.

I also forgot to mention the childish actions of a few here that felt the need to resort to name calling and that is not an unsubstantiated claim

I have talked to both. Carli has the progressive springs but thurens are a softer spring. My concern is if I use a softer spring will my truck lean more on hard turns? Right now I'm leaning toward carli springs and rear pack and Thurens track bar but still researching.

When I bought my stuff through Don, he recoomended Carli springs, maybe because of the extra weight of the Megacab? It was a toss up between buying from Thuren and Carli. My choice broke down to I spent more of Don's time discussing different options...it was a nice feeling to know to that when we were installing the suspension, Don was just a text message away...
