Bought evrything through Don Thuren. He uses Carli's springs, with new coils in front and full dual purpose leafs in the back...lifeted front 3 inches and the back 1 inch.

I've been on Don's site and have seen the shock/coil set up he offers... Just been too broke to take the plunge

What stage did you have them valved for, and what % of use does your truck see??...

Had them valved 3 in front and 2 in the back. More planning for the future, getting here slowly ready to tow. I like the look of a leveled truck, didn't want to go too tall. Right now it is for long trips with the family and fun! Probably bought too soon, few more years til retirement, I just didn't want a DPF...

I just got off the phone with Don. Ordered up a set of shocks (same valving as you), his mounts and bump stops....
I asked him about coils and leafs, and he said to just try out the shocks for now..... Cant wait!!

So, you will be using the King shocks with your superlift kit. Just remember to do the cutting and welding for the bumpstops while you have the coils out. Let me know how she rides!

Yeah, for now i'm just doing the shocks and bumps. Don was saying to just try it out for now, and that i would see a night and day difference with just that. Down the road i would like to get his coils, set of leafs or mini packs, and make the truck semi-desert-able. Dont plan on doing the Baja 1000 or anything, but would like to be able to play in the whoops out at the dunes.
As for the bump stops.... I only wish i had the tools (and welding skills). I unfortunately will be taking it to a local shop to have them put on

Let me know how she rides!
Definitely!
Have you tested yours out yet?

Not yet, I was after a level look and great ride. She handles great, way less body lean in turns, rough roads where I would have to slow down on before, railroad tracks, etc...just keep going and don't look back. As for the off road part...

Thumbs up Thuren.

His bumpstops look like an affordable alternative to the King bumpstops. I'm interested in how they'll work for you. My buddy's got the King bumpstops and they are effective but noisy. Nice setup. Don's a very nice guy and takes his time over the phone with you. He's been busy lately as his parents lost their house in the Santa Barbara fires.

Looking good. But those bumpstops I don't think I will comment on them Thuren seems to make good things, but he seems to love grinding and welding on the truck, which I cannot understand why.....
