truck has sat for three days fired it up today and engine light on right away p0299 as you can see i have tst r49 and a htt66 what do you think? i have a quadzilla boost foller brand new in box but never put it on cause the tst fools should i put it in line?

 

0299 is something I used to get with a 66mm turbo.
You will need a programmer to clear the code or stay in limp mode for next to forever.

Boost fooler don't have anything to do with 0299.

 

Do the electronic wastegate foolers go bad mine did it twice this weekend, the first time i cleared the code twice before it would stay off. the second time i cleared 3 times for the code to stay off.

 

same here i cleard the 0299 drove home restarted it now crank pos code i left the stock part off my old turbo plugged in and tied up out of the way,was shocked i got low boost code? is there something else maybe?

 

anyone? happend today towing the 50 ft trailer,not good!

 

i have one of my 06's throwing the p0299 code it started after i let ats talk me into a 3000 turbo and dual cp3, neither one helped my mileage and ats will not respond , i was towing most of the night when it happened once and i was at 18lb average boost for about five continuous hours at the time of failure. with about 1500 miles between failures and no help from ats it is going to be hard to track and like you it does it at bad times pulling a trailer i have to pull off the road and reset with the jr to continue
