Roktec does the same as the tone ring mod - correct? I have both. I first had the tone ring mod, and tehn added the XZT. With both I have a minor amunt of rattle at idle (I think, but can't say for sure as I'm not 100% sure what the rattle sounds like - mine sounds like loud lifters in the common rail - don't hear it unless hood is open). My milage with both went up maybe .5 to 1 mpg. But then again I'm getting 22 mpg in the summer, so I'm not sure there was much improvement left when I put on teh XZT.

As for the Quad box I have the "std" tow module which by default is in the #3 setting (65hp/165tq)

This setting seems plenty for daily driving and towing my 12K # Toy hauler around. Wouldn't go much higher with beefing up the auto tranny I have.

Can't adjust it unless I get the commander.

 

There was a roktech in the classifieds a while ago...

 

I most always have mine on the 60hp setting. It seems to get the best mileage that way. Was just wondering if adding the rokktec would be worth it.

 

do the tone ring mod. free, and takes 10 minutes, and is adjustable. you can set it back to stock if you dont like it.

I usually leave mine at the 1st setting - around 60 HP. Unless I'm goofing off, or someone is in a hurry to get one car length farther up in traffic. Then I reach down, and flip it all the way up. I sometimes forget to turn it down though.
