It makes about the same power as my $400 Xzillaraider...

Trust me, you can get so much more for so much less. Grab a cold one and some chips, do a search and start reading. Then when you're thoroughly confused come back and ask again...

what portion of the country do you reside? maybe a member close to you can visit and let you 'borrow' a module to let you see just how much power you can get for under $500.

yeah but isnt it also all about being "efficient" and having the right egt's and making the truck last?? im real new to this whole diesel bit so i havent a clue, i know just cranking up the boost on my gas turbo truck isnt generally the best idea as everything else sorta has to be in place too so itll all be efficient together......

My Commander and Xzillaraider make great power and are packed full of monitoring and safety features. Combined with a free flowing exhaust (I added an MBRP muffler and left the stock 4" pipes) and maybe an intake (I don't have one) I'm sure I run every bit as cool as the Banks kit. Just so you know, none of the power adders recommend towing on the highest power level. Most recommend it on the lowest or 2nd level.

with my race module, intake, exhaust, LP AND turbo, i am still below the price of that bundle, and i believe that I generate more power, lower egt's,and have the usable power as well.

but all that red stuff looks pretty.

The beauty of a diesel is you don't have to spend 3000 to get an awsome amt of power. You may have to spend that and more to get not even as much torque or power on a gas engine. Read a lot and go talk to a diesel performance shop. I have Commander that moniters fuel pressure, Rail pressure, oil temp, water temp, boost, and egt, and quad race box 140 hp and a ? bunch more torque, for less than 1000 bucks. I have some banks stuff on my 6.9 ford, but it is overpriced. reseach, talk to some diesel shops and you will find for 3000$ you can get a lot more bang for your buck.
Good luck.
