Considering I'm riding on a 6" lift with 37s, what will I really gain with a rebuilt/aftermarket transmission at this point? Would it make enough of a diffeference to eclipse the kind of performance I had before with 33s and what you see in my sig?
I think I would be ready to splurge on a tranny if I new that the net result would be far greater acceleration, reliability, passing and towing power than what I had before with teeny tiny tires and the stuff you see in my sig.
Finally, I feel like I lost power when I went with my 4" Cool duals
I thought I'd only be risking that by going to 5" or greater.

Sure is... it's the most easterly island in the Caribbean. And since you asking I might as well: http://www.visitbarbados.org/

It's possible that's what I'm feeling but overall the bottom end to low mid isn't quite as responsive. And I don't know... it tends to sound a bit like a loose A hole through some it's range. Is this normal?
I did have that problem(sort of) on my 12 valve, went from 4"pipe to 5" stacks, to 5" straight pipe, and it took longer to spool... Had noticably more lag. Didnt lose any power though, it still hit hard, just took longer to get there.
