Question Third member cover

I purchased a trick aluminum cover for my 2500 it is polished with a large ram head cast into it i have had several friends comment on it asking who makes it, I purchased this cover from somebody advertising it on the classified here anybody out there know who the manufacturer is?

Are you talking about a cover for the oil cap? Im not sure what cover you are referring to.

Atlantic, I think you are right now that I reread his post. I remember seeing that Ram Head cover too. Pretty cool!

Yes its the third member cover its really trick also holds two more quarts of fluid its so large i had to make a metal strap to pull the spare away from it, I will take a picture of it and post it in my album today. maybe someone will know who makes it there are no casting identifiers on it.

I believe this is the same one with the exception that yours is fully polished.

Yeah, I'm guessing you are a Toyota guy or something? It ain't called a "third member" on these trucks. A third member refers to the removable member on a Toyota or Ford 9" style axle.
