Thinking about selling my Smarty Jr. and buying a Sr., have ???'s

1. Does the Smarty Sr. power levels 1, 3, 5, have low EGT's just like the Jr. 1,2,3 power levels?

2. Will raiseing the Sr. rail pressure in power levels 1, 3, 5, raise, lower, or keep EGT's the same?

Thanks,
Windy

Yes, they are the same power level. Yes, your EGT's will go up by raising the RP because more fuel = more heat.

Thanks, I guess I was thinking wrong. I was thinking more pressure = better atomization with the same amount of fuel there by getting a little more power and possilbly better MPG. Maybe I'll just keep my Jr.

For my 1,000 post I thought it should count, so here it goes! I went from a Sr. to a Jr. for the simple fact, & by reading your sig. you don't either, I didn't have the supporting mods to justify the Sr. Some examples; tranny, fuel, aspiration, $$$$$$$$$$ & $$$$$$$$$$. Stick w/the Jr. It is enough to keep you happy & not too much that it requires ALOT more $$$$$$$ to reap the true benefits of the Sr. It was awesome but it was also too much power w/out the $$$$$$$ to back it up. Just my $$$$$$$$$$.02!!!!!!!
