I have honestly only "boost launched" the truck a few times and only have about 6,000 miles on the truck. I started running in tow haul mode and a couple of times when decelerating at about 10 MPH the trans feels like it is locked up and shudders terribly before dropping. Last night I got on it to pass a car from about 30 mph. No unusual sounds or signs of slipping. When I stopped at a light all seemed normal until the light changed. No movement until the RPM got to about 2500 rpm and then when it did move it did not want to shift to second. On the freeway all seems OK, truck shifts to OD normally. Any ideas, or am I toast?

 

The 07s had a solenoid problem with the valve bodies. You may want to contact your local dealer and get it in for a service job under warranty.

Yep sure does look that way doesnt it lol. Bad thing is their are 2 trucks in my small little town with the exact same truck also lol and they both got them the week after I got mine. I bet yours isnt as broke in as mine LOL.

 

CReed, I have seen a lot of the new trucks in the same color lately. I guess everyone liked it so much they just had to have one of their own

 

Yep kinda wishin I had went black or white now that I think of it a little more.

 

Decided not to try to fight DC. I ordered a new ATS trans todayOUCH!! But the trans was the weak link anyway and I knew it. Bummer it didn't last a year but with the mods I guess its true, You play...You pay...
