teach me about the Smarty men

Okay guys just got a Smarty from another member here and need some education on it. I have searched these boards and all the stuff is pretty much Greek to me. I want to use the Smarty to get the most miles per gallon out of my truck. The unit I bought does have the new TNT Revo programming installed in it, what does that do? I don't want to have a hot rod (all though it is nice!!) but would like to get some more miles out of the fuel tank. Any help would be much appreciated.

Also, do I need to remove and sell my boost fooler? I would imagine that I won't need it with the Smarty as it does boost fooling already. Should I also remove the Rokktech sensor so there is not too much timing? Thanks again for your help.

I believe there is a limit to the Smarty's boost fooling capabilities.

If it were me and I was looking for economy I would remove the TNT and just load the standard Revo. Remember #1TNT=100HP. Just leave the Boost fooler and set the smarty to wastegate "ON". I always get the best MPG with SW#3,Timing #2,RP #2,TQ management #2. Remove the Rokktech.

If you do run the TNT, DO NOT DISABLE the shift defuel! Actually, I'd get rid of TNT and run the the standard s/w.

Is all this stuff available on their website or do I need to have the program e-mailed to me? I am just looking for economy, so I will remove the TNT program.

You guys all agree though that the Rokktech needs to come off. After I remove the TNT program, what level should I set it on? Sorry for all the questions, my only downloader experience is with my BullyDog.

Yes to removing the rokktech. THe smarty has it's own dynamic timing and you don't want to get too much... the smarty boostfools to around 40-42 psi... if you have a stock turbo, that is all you need anyway and can remove the other fooler.

The regular REVo program is on the website for download. For best mileage, you will have to play with different settings to find what is best for you and your truck.. lowest settings doesn't always mean the best mileage... I have found my best to be on sw5 or sw7 in the past.

ARE YOU SUGGESTING: JUST RUN THE STANDARD DEFAULT TIMING ON THE ODD CATCHERS...

THIS WOULD BE WITH THE "WASTEGATE OFF" SETTING?

SO YOU ARE SAYING THAT THE REGULAR REVO PROGRAM WOULD BE MORE
PRACTICAL FOR THE "AVERAGE TRUCK" IE: STOCK TRANNY, TURBO, FUEL SUPPLY
WHEN IN SEARCH OF MILAGE AND NON TRANNY SMOKING PERFORMANCE..

hey there bud, whoa what a shock, didn't think you wre even interested in the truck anymore let alone gettin the smarty........ you just need to go to mads site and get the usb tool for updating the smarty and then down load the non tnt tune to the computer, extract that to a file, then open up the usb updater and chose the new file and hit send. not a good idea in thunderstorms as it takes a good half hour to install........... take out the rocktech is a good thing to do while you wait, take advantage of the maps that the smarty has for timing. boost fooler, I would remove as well, could sell both and have yourself $ towards a tank of fuel/////// as for what levels to run, each truck is different. i still have the last three programs for the smarty on my desktop if you want to try anything different too.

I told you the other night I was looking for one and found one in the classifieds for a good price. I may have to come by your house and download said files. I'm not really computer savvy you know..... I will take the Rokktech and boost fooler out and sell both.
