Lockout hubs and exhaust mod

Has anybody installed lockouts to replace their auto hubs? Results? Benefits? Better mpg's? Cost? Worth it?

Also, I have replaced the factory muffler and would like to install a better overall exhaust and/or at least replace the cat with a better flowing one. Anybody have some info on the cat, where to look for it and its improvements? As for the exhaust, there are a lot of them out there and not sure which way to go. I had a Banks on my 01 and it was fine but not sure if there is a "best" setup out there. I've seen several that are turbo back and would like to do that if possible.

Thanks!

When I get the money 2k to do the manual hub kit I'll do it just to keep everything in the front and transfer case from spinning all the time and pick up 1-2 MPG.
If you want a full exhaust I would only recommend a turbo back 5 inch kit because I don't like the sound from the 4 inch kits. I got my 5 inch exhaust from farmboy diesel get service and even better price.

Yeah, the bucks are tough to bit into just for new hubs but I do agree, I think the piece of mind with knowing the front end is not spinning all the time might be worth it.

Thanks on the exhaust as well. I would go with a 5 inch and a turbo back as well but just wasn't sure which mfg to go with. I'd try to keep my aeroturbine muffler if I could but it's not a requirement.

The free spin kits are alot more than just hubs just wanted to let you know that.
I would call up farmboy diesel and get one of there kits with a muffler i didn't get one but he said it is a straight threw muffler and sounds really good.
