tasha's twins
i built these for a friend of mines daughters truck. my friend ed and i did the fabrication and james had the master plan in his head. we just did it in metal. he was going for volume, not psi. his idea was big quick spooling chargers that will flow lots of cool air. so the baby's is a t70 and the big'un is a t91 both are ball bearing turbos. it sure seem to spool well and is about like stock off the line with out power braking. but it is a different monster when you are on it. still waiting for a few more miles for the flogging test. but i have some pics in my gallery waiting on approval. it sure looks nice with the ceramic coatings on it.

Hey guys, Tasha here!
I just want to thank everyone who contributed to making my truck run and look so well. I can't wait to get it on the drag strip and let'er loose!
Again, I want to thank everyone. This includes Big Mike [gunracer1], Grumpy ol' Ed at the machine shop (his grumpy act doesn't fool me, though), JB Hale [torquemech] or as I call him "Uncle B", and Joe with Suncoast Transmissions. Also, thanks daddy! You outdid yourself on me! Also, I would like to thank my lil' brother, Nate, and Brandon for helping turn a few wrenches here and there along with my mom for allowing the financial obligation involved.
My truck, my baby, my evil twin... Looks and feels great! Thanks guys!

Yepp that is Mike showing us his secret to building great twins!
I have been tuning these twins and working through all the bugs that you run across sometimes when you have this "one off" type work done.
I finished it all yesterday with the addition of a larger wastegate spring and installation of the brace to hold the mammoth up. JB Hale (Grump B) (uncle B) (torquemech) was doing most of it!(I had to add that part or he would roast me) He He.
360 miles since install and we are starting to rail on this truck a little more. Turbo's are quick. I have it adjusted to give me 60 PSi.
The Suncoast is the best I have ever driven. Joe made the converter to be a higher stall and we installed a lock up to lock the TQ at 28 mph.
I have no problem controlling the smoke with this tranny.
Anyways, I will not get behind the wheel for a long time as Tasha will not give it up again. Especially after Turbonetics had the T91 for what seemed an eternity taking care of a little warrantee issue.
Enjoy little girl...It's all yours.

glad to hear everything's getting all sorted out! especially after the initial teething issues. I know it took a while, but it's good that they took care of you on the turbos, that would have been a pricey hit!
so Mike, now that you've got a couple twin setups under your belt, when are you gonna yank that lag pig you've got on there now and go doublemint?!??
