While I only have lowly 2nd gen I just added a Smarty and all I can say is that if I had "borrowed" it for the week end I wouldn't be giving it back any time soon.

I had more fun playing with the progams one day than I had in a long time. I was actually able to do a good burn out even with the dually.

You guys will get even more out of it.

I got 1 mpg better after a week of ratting around rolling coal and roaring around town. This week I've gone back to mpg mode and have settled down .....some. We'll see how it does now.

go for it.

Hey -- I was just responding to the title of the thread and making logical arguments. I don't have a problem with the Smarty and would prefer it. I personally couldn't stomach the price differential but everyone is different. I'm not interested in convincing anyone that the Predator is better or that anything is better, for that matter. Just making some points is all.

Cheers!!!

It was a joke, as I used to own (got suckered too man) a six gun, and even fell for the "speed loader". What a hunk!

It did however keep me from tearing up my truck while I wasnt running gauges!

I have the Diablo stack. Was interested in the Smarty but it is too pricey for what it does. I just find it weird that Bob Wagner ho I think sells the Smarty on the U.S. market always has something negative about the competition.
