T/C question
I've recently noticed a deep whirling sound during slow acceleration.
It will do it in idle when in park. The only time it goes away or i can't hear it is when the T/C locks up. The sound matches the engine RPM.
The sound seems to come the driver side of the engine. I can't really hear the transmission making the noise while under the truck and its running. In the past couple of weeks this is the second time I heard it. I do have a module but have not raced or abused it. The fluid is full and nice and pink. The trans has never heated up according to my gauge. It performs perfectly so far. Anyone have any ideas or simular sounds. Thanks, oh and I have 32K on the odometer

Mine does the same thing. It sounds like a brake lathe turning a rotor down. Or like youre dragging a 45lb. plate behind your truck. I believe it is the converter.
